Bert is a digital entrepreneur with experience and expertise in the digitization of retail, media and society. He started the Digital Market Intelligence departement at research agency GfK Belgium, helping clients and partners optimizing their on- and offline touchpoints in an omnichannel context. After 9 years in digital research, he is now focussing on the impact digital has on society, citizens and governments with Tree company, part of the accelator program start it @KBC. Bert is also academically active as lecturer for omnichannel retail at the UCLL and regularly gives workshops and keynotes on the evolution of retail.
